Annual Passholder Changes

The Disneyland Resort is changing how they process Annual Passholders (AP's) for those purchasing them for the first time or those who are renewing them.  As we mentioned before, they are no longer taking your picture and putting them on the Annual Pass.

When AP's make their purchase at a dining location or a retail location within the parks, and they have a new AP, they will be asked to show photo identification as well.

They began to allow guests who purchased an Annual Pass recently to upload a photo of themselves from home.  This allows the Cast Member at the admission gates or the parking lots to see your photo and not have you show identification.

Beginning July 31, 2011 the Annual Passholder Processing Centers within Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure will be closing.  All Annual Pass transactions will be handled at the ticket gate.  You can upload a photo from home or have a Photopass photographer take a picture for you, but you will not be required to wait in another line to have your photo taken within the park.

This change now has the Disneyland Resort similar to Walt Disney World's Annual Passholder processing as well.

Rumor is the Plaza Pavilion at Disneyland, where the current Annual Passholder Processing Center is, will become a Mary Poppins themed bakery.

Finance Your Disneyland Resort Annual Passes

All California residents are now able to finance their Disneyland Annual Passes over 12 months. To participate, Passholders will be required to make a deposit equivalent to the cost of a one-day, one-park ticket ($80.00). They will then be able to pay the balance over 12 months, with the payments charged to a credit card. This offer is valid to those with Zip Code 90000 to 96199.

New Changes To Your Annual Pass When You Renew!!!

When you receive your renewed Disneyland Resort Annual Passport, you are ready to begin enjoying your Passholder privileges immediately!

Please note that, along with a colorful new design featuring Mickey, Donald and Goofy, the Passport no longer includes your photo. Although your photo is no longer displayed on your Passport, your picture will remain on file for certain administrative and validation purposes, including verifying your admission privileges at entry gate turnstiles. You may need to update your photo from time to time, so, please follow any instructions you may receive in order to keep your Passport active.
